THE MAN IN THE MIDDLE
TEXT: 1 Timothy 2:1-8
MEMORY VERSE: 1 Timonthy 2:5
“There is….one mediator between, God and man, the
man Christ Jesus…”
Beloved,
there is only one mediator, (peacemaker), between God and human race, 1
Timothy 2:5. God wants all men to be saved (vs.4). To make it possible and
simple, God appointed one man to be a mediator. It is possible for one to move
around the world investigating all religions and philosophies without finding
God. There is just one man in the middle appointed by God to be “the Christ”,
named Jesus of Nazareth, God in
human flesh.
As we pray to seek God, we need to focus
on this man in the middle. HE is the one who can gain us hearing with God.
HE made it clear when HE said, “I am the
way…. No one comes to the Father except through me”. (John 14:6).
Why will you not give your life to Jesus now and be reconciled with God? This
is important because our righteousness is just like filthy rags before God and
all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Isa. 64:6, Rom. 3.23. Decide now, because tomorrow may be too
late, II Cor. 6:2.
Pray now, call on Jesus to take over
your life. You will never remain the same as you answer this clarion call.
